Marika, thanks so much for stopping by my blog and sharing about your experience with Zoe. I am so sorry to hear that it was such a bad experience for you. Your experience is exactly what I feared happening and why I decided to go back to the states to have my son. It sounds truly traumatic! But, you have a beautiful and healthy little girl now and in the end that is what really matters :)

Beth, thanks for sharing your birth story on your blog. It was very ice for me to read. i gave birth in one of the best hospitals, but it was definitely not nice experience. it was full of medication 25 hours experience. One one hand I am glad I gave birth in the hospital, because there were complications and after Zoe was born she needed assistance with breathing and i guess if she would have been born home, she wouldn't have make it, which is something i cannot ever imagine, on the other hand I feel like it was hospitals falt that it ended with complications and emergency C-section. They were too busy and they were trying to speed up the delivery, than slow it done, and speed it up again.... Bad, bad experience. After 25 hours since my water broke they finally decided to do c- section, it was 5PM and I saw Zoe at 10 PM, 5 ours later. So I definitely do regret I haven;t seen her earlier, but I am sooo happy that everything ended up OK and she is fine. For 6 months after birth we had to be going on regular checks ups to neurologist to make sure there was no damage done to her brain. I was extremely nervous each time and I was watching Zoe all the time, looking for irregularities in her development.... terrible. I have no idea what i would do next time.... i guess i would be to scared to have home birth, because I know what have happened with Zoe , but I am not sure if I would go back to the same hospital. Anyway, i think your experience is amazing. i wish you the best of luck!!!!!!
