Pursue health with Chiropractor, Dr. McCartney (New Patients Only)
Dr. McCartney, or as we typically call him in my family, Dr. Mike, and his wife Terri, are two of my favorite people. We love them. I kind of think of Dr. Mike like a chiropractor, psychologist, miracle worker all in one. He has seen me cry more than some of my friends have. He has helped with the aches and pains and structural problems that come from just living life, and from carrying around a 40+ pound non-mobile child. But, more than that he has helped me work through other less easily identifiable issues than just structural work.
When I was in high school, my mom was hospitalized for awhile. No one could figure out what was going on with her. She couldn’t keep food down at all, but all her tests came back normal. Eventually, we went to see Dr. Mike and he figured out what was going on. He got her feeling better when no one else could. We consider him a miracle worker.
But that wasn’t the only time he’s worked big (and little) miracles for my family. When I was pregnant with both my children, I was miserable. I felt sick and just downright horrible all the time, except for when I was seeing Dr. Mike regularly. Then I felt almost normal, or at least as normal as a pregnant me could feel.
He’s helped me work through trapped emotional issues, allergies and food sensitivities, and odd symptoms that don’t really fit in any category. He helped us figure out that Thad was reacting to wheat, a discovery that I feel like saved my sanity. And the supplements he put Sage on have been the only thing that has really improved her sleep and got her to the point where she’s only waking up 1-3 times a night rather than 10+ times a night. Seriously, I consider him my miracle worker. Have I said that yet?
When we lived overseas in Prague the thing I missed more than anything was being able to see Dr. Mike - haha! I would schedule visits for on the way to the airport so I could see him right before leaving after a visit back to Arizona.
Dr. Mike is gentle, compassionate, informed, and funny. His wife (who usually works the front desk) is genuine, fun, intuitive, and helpful. They are both just amazing and generously offered two visits for a current patient and two visits for a new patient to the auction.
If you have never seen Dr. Mike, and you want to check out what all of my hype is about, bid on this item for a chance to get a new patient appointment (longer than a typical appointment) and one follow up appointment.
If you are already a current patient with Dr. Mike, go to this post instead.
