Delight in a Laura Bundesen original

When my friend, Melissa, heard I was doing this auction, she instantly connected me with Laura Bundesen. I wasn’t familiar with Laura’s work before this, but I’m so glad that I am now. Her pieces are full of joy, wonder, and beauty.

Here’s how she describes her art:

“Stitching together art & neuroscience one piece at a time.”

Her current series of artwork explores the wonders of the brain in vivid colors and with imaginative patterns. The brain has long been a fascinating topic for me, but even more so since my grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimers, my daughter with Cerebral Palsy, and my son with ADHD. I love Laura’s creativity in exploring the different parts of the brain through art. It’s an incredible concept and a beautiful series.

She even has a rainbow brain embroidery pattern you can buy and use to make your own brain fiber art work. I highly recommend that you check it out.

Laura didn’t have any of her original brain pieces available right now, but she graciously offered this beautiful floral original, Love in my Garden. It could be the perfect addition to add a touch of texture, vibrancy, and beauty to your wall. The piece is 12x12 inches on gallery wrapped canvas so no need to frame it. Laura hand embroidered the word love to fit perfectly in a painted rose. This piece is the last in her 'In my Garden' series.
