Winter Comes Calling

Today I could hear Winter knocking at my door… Beckoning me to succumb to her darkness

Calling me to hibernate in her shadows

Summoning me to lie down in her womb.

I tend to hang out on Instagram more than other online channels.
I’d love to connect with you there.

Day 83 of #imitatelikeawriter for #the100dayproject

While I drew inspiration for this from the quote from A Severe Mercy, I think my mind is still on Octavia Butler’s direct and emotive writing style. ✍️

Still thinking about characterization ☺️✍️
Day 80 of #imitatelikeawriter for #the100dayproject

JOIN OUR PRAYER TEAM

Cancer is hard. Over the past seven years that my husband has been battling cancer we have found we need the support of people holding us up. If you'd like to be part of the incredible group of people who pray for us, you can sign up below. We would be so grateful. We send out prayer requests and updates as needs arise so sometimes you might get regular emails from us and other times you might not hear from us at all (silence is usually a good thing!).
