Wear your values with a Landmark Project hat and shirt
Ok, my friends are not only cool, but they know some pretty cool people too. Bryan and I met Jen and her husband through David Baker (David is one of the founders of Methodical) at Beth Able’s house. If you read my auction post about Beth Able’s cookbook, Jen was one of the amazing people at that dinner.
Jen and her husband, Matt, owned a design and print shop in Greenville and started designing and printing t-shirts featuring locations they had explored and enjoyed. My understanding is that it was a little on a whim, as a fun side project, but quickly drew a following. Now it’s a robust company with 30+ employees and tons of incredible designs and products.

One of my favorite t-shirts I own is from Landmark, and I get more comments on it than probably any other item in my closet. The design includes an image of a bear with the words “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, except bears. Bears will kill you.” It makes me smile every time I put it on and I have a tendency to wear it on the particularly hard days to remind myself, “Hey, at least it’s not bears.” ;)
